Why I Have Chosen a 6-Pointed Socket For RV Anode Rod? 

When I replaced the anode rod of the RV water anode, I preferred to use a 6-pointed socket. Because this type of socket does a much better job than the 12-pointed socket. 

Moreover, the 6-pointed socket nicely grips the entire length of the anode rod with its six sides. 

Besides, while replacing the anode rod, what we want is not to ruin the bolt head of the anode rod before even loosening the thread.
